EHTHS Rowing began in 1998, aided by a resourceful group determined to establish a public school program for a sport that doesn’t quite fit in a public school budget.  Competitive rowing is a fantastic aerobic and anaerobic team sport that builds fitness and personal discipline, but it’s expensive.  Competitive shells (boats) made of advanced materials cost as much as some automobiles, and on-water safety and officiating needs mean competition fees are considerable.  We know the costs are worth it, and we’re committed to sustaining an excellent High School rowing program at Egg Harbor Township High School.

We’ve grown from a handful of rowers using one overweight, secondhand shell to a highly competitive team of 110+ rowers that competes regionally, nationally, and even internationally.

EHTHS Crew Boosters is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.  Our purpose is to be the fundraising engine and “fan club central” for this team.  It takes a network of volunteers working year-round to plan, organize and administer various events and campaigns to meet expenses.  We need and welcome your support -- as a Boosters member, donor, corporate sponsor, patron of our fundraisers or cheerer of our dedicated rowers!
